Vidant Alert is a mass notification system designed to rapidly distribute important information to a large audience. With Vidant Alert, employees and non-employees have the option to receive emergency notifications via text message, email, and/or by phone.
Emergency notification includes, but is not limited to:
It’s important to note this tool will not replace any current communication methods used during emergency situations. It’s an additional tool designed to make it easy and convenient for you to receive critical information.
To ensure you receive Vidant Alert messages, all employees must make sure their phone numbers and email listed in Employee Self Service are current and accurate. Review instructions on how to access and make changes in Employee Self Service.
Vidant Alert is also open to non-Vidant Health employees who spend time on or near Vidant Health properties based in Greenville and the Outer Banks. Other areas will join Vidant Alert later this summer.
We encourage all physicians, residents, students, volunteers, vendors and other guests to sign up to be notified in the event of an emergency.
Non-employees, sign up now and customize your notification methods and messages.
