In the beauty of the Albemarle Sound, campers enjoy a creative, educational and supportive atmosphere. The purposes of camp are to encourage listening and learning and sharing and caring. You will get an analysis of lifestyle adjustments to living with cancer, lessons on giving and receiving family support and an assessment of emotional needs and ways to meet those needs. The camp offers educational assistance for medically related concerns, information about managing the side effects of treatment and nutritional education and information. Relaxation and restoration are experienced through a variety of integrative therapies.
