Orthotics program

Orthotic devices and systems help people with physical disabilities walk, stand, sit or use their upper extremities. Each device is designed to fit the individual’s needs and to provide the highest level of function and comfort. The Rehabilitation Center works with prosthetists to provide the Early Post Operative Prosthetic program for individuals who have undergone a below-the-knee amputation. The program identifies those who can benefit from early fitting with a temporary prosthesis, or artificial limb.
