The Pediatric Heart Program specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of children with heart disease. These children receive highly specialized care from pediatric cardiologists, pediatric cardiac surgeons, pediatric intensive care physicians, and pediatric nurse practitioners. The program provides acute care management, a full array of support services, physician consultation and patient follow-up for children from birth to age 18 years. Our surgeons perform many pediatric open-heart procedures each year for all types and complexities of congenital defects.
Children and families of children who are referred to this program have access to accommodations at the Ronald McDonald House.
