Stroke Support Groups

Stroke support groups allow stroke survivors and caregivers to come together in a safe and caring atmosphere. The meetings focus on stroke prevention, education, socialization and community resources. Virtual support groups are held on the second Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. via WebEx.

If you or a loved one have suffered a stroke, we are here to help. We also aim to provide community education and stroke screenings to help prevent a stroke. Start lowering your risk now by knowing your numbers for blood pressure and cholesterol. Vidant Medical Center offers screenings throughout the year to assess your numbers and learn how to lower them.
