Encouraging, equipping and empowering patients and families to achieve and maintain recovery from distress, mental illness or addiction.

Not all diseases are physical. Mental and emotional issues can severely affect all aspects of your life and can be just as debilitating as a physical disease. Vidant Health has behavioral health experts to help tackle issues like depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and personality and mood disorders.

We recognize that every patient’s circumstances are unique. That’s why we don’t work from a standard treatment plan. After carefully examining your needs, we develop a highly personalized treatment plan to get you back to a happy, productive life.

Under the guidance of physicians and licensed therapists, we help manage your medications, provide family support and education, and refer you to other services that benefit you.
