    Our breastfeeding classes at Vidant Medical Center offer basic instruction on how to breastfeed your baby.  We discuss the importance of skin to skin and breastfeeding within the first hour of birth, practices related to breastfeeding in the early days postpartum period, and breastfeeding and returning to work.  We have lactation specialists available 7 days per week and offer free outpatient one on one consults in our Maternal Expressions store. You will get an analysis of lifestyle adjustments to living with cancer, lessons on giving and receiving family support and an assessment of emotional needs and ways to meet those needs. The camp offers educational assistance for medically related concerns, information about managing the side effects of treatment and nutritional education and information.
