Meetings are open to stroke survivors and their loved ones and/or caregivers. Meeting topics include professional speakers, informal sharing of ideas/concerns, and social events. Please join us on the third Monday night of each month (excluding December and January). Our virtual breastfeeding class at Vidant Medical Center offers basic instruction on how to breastfeed your baby. We discuss the importance of skin to skin, breastfeeding in the first hour of birth, practices related to breastfeeding in the immediate postpartum period and breastfeeding after returning to work.
