“We’re a limb you can hold onto”. This group provides support for individuals with limb loss and their family or friends. Please join us on the third Monday night of each month (excluding December and January). Note: the Disability Advocates and Resource Center is not a support group, but is a resource for people with a disability. They are located on John Hopkins Drive.
Vidant Cancer Care invites eligible Pitt County residents without health insurance to receive free cancer screenings. COVID safety is a top priority. We will provide a mask for all participants in order to help keep you safe. Free breast cancer screenings are for women 40 years of age and older with at least one year since their last mammogram. Support groups are a great way to meet others who have experienced similar things you and your family have been through as a brain injury survivor. Meetings are open to brain injury survivors and loved ones and/or caregivers. Meeting topics include professional speakers, informal sharing of ideas/concerns, and social events.
