Help protect yourself, your loved ones and your community.
Vidant Health is proud to serve eastern North Carolina during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of this effort, Vidant has opened a dedicated COVID-19 drive-up testing site at the corner of Stantonsburg Road and Wellness Drive in Greenville.
COVID-19 testing is covered through the CARES Act and currently there are no out-of-pocket costs to the public. Insurance is not needed for a COVID-19 test at the Greenville site, however, health care organizations must collect and submit insurance information for patients that have it, per the CARES Act.
The testing site’s hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Testing is also offered on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Results are expected within 24 hours.
Vidant’s robust and state-of-the-art testing program is the backbone of its COVID-19 response. The Greenville drive-up testing site is a direct result of Vidant’s investment in advanced testing technology and capacity and a true demonstration of the organization living its mission of improving the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina. In addition to COVID-19 testing, Vidant encourages community members to receive their annual flu vaccine and continue to wear a mask to help protect themselves and their loved ones this flu season.
Contact your Vidant provider for information and to check for availability of COVID-19 testing in your area.
Greenville’s COVID-19 testing site will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 31, 2021.
