Here to Keep You Informed
At Vidant Health, we are experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic firsthand. Though we have been navigating this crisis for some time, there are still many unknowns and separating fact from fiction can be challenging. We’re here to keep you up-to-date on COVID-19, how you can help protect yourself and what it means for your next visit to a Vidant facility.
Vidant has COVID-19 testing available throughout eastern North Carolina and resources available to keep you informed. We are closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation and will continue to follow recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
As always, we recommend that community members practice good hygiene by washing hands frequently, practicing social distancing and wearing a mask when in public. Thank you for doing your part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Answering Your Questions About the COVID-19 Vaccine
Vidant Health continues to be committed to improving the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina. Providing COVID-19 vaccines, COVID testing and flu vaccines to the communities we serve in this unprecedented time is one of the many ways we strive to reach our mission.
This is not the year to skip your flu shot. We now have more than one virus to worry about. Do your part to protect yourself, your family and your community from COVID-19 and the seasonal flu – get vaccinated.
In addition to receiving a vaccine, please continue to wear a mask when out in public – it helps prevent the spread of flu and COVID-19. Your health – and the health of your loved ones – depends on it.
