A powerful combination of mission and medicine.

The local hospital is a community cornerstone — a place of care and caring when it is needed most. ECU Health hospitals stimulate local economies, provide charity care and are often among the largest employers in town. We are neighbors, coworkers, relatives and friends, all living and working in this unique region we call home. ECU Health’s sustainable efforts to be a vital health resource and a good citizen result in a stronger community, now and in the years to come.

We understand that the communities we serve are experienced differently by people with different backgrounds. ECU Health’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of all those we serve across the diverse communities of eastern North Carolina.
