Onyx HD Procedure

Onyx HD is a glue-like liquid used to treat brain aneurysms.

Brain aneurysms develop off of your brain arteries. When they rupture, they can cause a devastating type of stroke as blood leaks in and around the brain. Onyx treatment uses a liquid, glue-like substance to fill aneurysms from the inside of the blood vessel, thereby preventing them from ever bleeding or causing a stroke.

The Onyx procedure is far less invasive than traditional, surgical methods of treating brain aneurysm. The procedure takes roughly three hours. After Onyx treatment, you’re likely to be out of the hospital within two days and back to work in a week or two.
