Modified Quantitative Testing (MQT) skin testing involves small needle sticks for each allergen being tested, and immunotherapy allergy shots will be prescribed based on results. We test and treat for 33 different inhalant allergens, including trees, grasses, weeds, molds, dust and animal dander. These allergens can also be tested via a radioallergosorbent (RAST) test. In addition, ECU Health offers blood tests to check for certain food allergies.
