Pediatric Asthma Program

We want to help you recognize and control your child's asthma symptoms. This will save you time and money spent in doctor's offices and emergency rooms.

The Pediatric Asthma Program provides services to children, up to age 18, who have asthma. Services are free and include:

  • Education – Learn how to manage asthma and prevent problems that can occur.
  • Tools – Learn what information and equipment is needed to treat asthma at different ages.
  • Resources – Learn about local support in your community for asthma awareness.

Asthma can be controlled by:

  • Recognizing the early warning signs (coughing, weezing, shortness of breath)
  • Identifying and avoiding asthma triggers
  • Working with your health care provider to develop an asthma action plan that will guide you on how to manage asthma
  • Visiting your health care provider on a regular basis
  • Having the right tools available to manage asthma

Take a simple three question quiz to determine if your child's asthma is under control.
