Pink Power looks good on you

September 29, 2015 by Beth Anne Atkins

GREENVILLE – Vidant Health and its physician partners are offering you the chance to learn how early detection, regular screening, and advanced treatment options can give you the power against breast cancer with our Pink Power Speaking tour, a series of eight events offered across the region.

This year’s keynote speaker, Mamie McCullough, is proof that it’s not where you start that matters – it’s where you finish. Instead of yielding to obstacles, she learned that happiness and success mean living every day to the fullest. She was reared in poverty by her widowed mother, endured abuse as a child, survived breast cancer and lived through the death of a spouse. She will share her life’s lessons and inspire others to overcome stresses, with grace and humor.
