New Vidant heart specialist now serving Jacksonville

Jacksonville, N.C. – Dr. Anil George has recently joined Vidant Cardiology in Jacksonville, providing advanced diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm conditions. He specializes in coronary artery disease, blood pressure management, atrial fibrillation, heart failure and other heart conditions.

Dr. George completed residency training at St. Louis University Hospital in Missouri followed by a cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and an electrophysiology fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

“I am a cardiologist with special interest and training in heart rhythm disorders,” he said. “I have lived and worked in eastern North Carolina for a significant part of my career with good insight into the needs of our communities. I am well prepared and motivated to make a difference in the cardiovascular health needs of the east.”
