Living with Heart

February 04, 2016 by Amy Holcombe

GREENVILLE – Vidant Health, East Carolina Heart Institute and its physician partners are working together to offer education and information about women’s heart disease with our 2016 Heart Truth Speaking Tour.

As Vidant Health celebrates American Heart Month, there will be speaking tour events across eastern North Carolina featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Sam Sears. A world-renowned heart expert, Dr. Sears inspires groups around the globe about the connection between your mind and your body in living with heart disease or preventing it in the first place. He is an East Carolina University professor and clinical psychologist who knows first-hand the challenges this region faces. Attendees will hear how it’s not just about staying alive, but how to live a more fulfilling life – no matter what stressors there may be. It’s all about living with heart.
