IHOP to partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in celebration of National Pancake Day

GREENVILLE – Want free pancakes? IHOP invites people of all ages to enjoy a free short stack of its famous buttermilk pancakes on Tuesday, Feb. 28 in celebration of IHOP’s seventh National Pancake Day. For every short stack of pancakes served from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. on National Pancake Day, IHOP guests are encouraged to make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals benefiting Vidant Children’s Hospital.

Local IHOPs participating in National Pancake Day include:
• Greenville – 3010 S. Evans Street
• New Bern – 3400 M.L. King Jr. Boulevard
• Jacksonville – 320 Western Boulevard
• Jacksonville – 2720 Richlands Highway #300

“We are really looking forward to partnering with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Vidant Children’s Hospital on this great event,” said Greg Meisner, with the IHOP in Greenville. “We will have plenty of people on staff Tuesday to help serve all of the customers who want to come in and have free pancakes and, hopefully, make a donation to CMN Hospitals.”

“We are very excited that IHOP is a part of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals team,” said Laura Lee Potter, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program director. “What could be better than getting free pancakes and having the chance to help sick and injured children at the same time? This is a wonderful opportunity for the people of eastern North Carolina to join together in making miracles happen for the children in our region.”

There is a limit of one short stack per guest, and the offer is valid at participating restaurants for dine-in only while supplies last.

Locally, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raise money to help support programs and services at Vidant Children’s Hospital and the 29 counties it serves. One hundred percent of the money raised by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals stays in eastern North Carolina. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a fundraising program of Vidant Medical Center Foundation.
