Free kidney health screenings in Greenville

GREENVILLE – Vidant Medical Center will be working with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University to sponsor a free kidney screening for the Greenville area. 
The event will be held Thursday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joy Soup Kitchen in Greenville. 
These free screenings are designed for those at risk: anyone 18 years and older with high blood pressure, diabetes or a family history of kidney disease. It is designed to raise awareness about kidney disease among high-risk individuals and provide free testing and educational information so that kidney disease and its complications can be prevented or delayed.
