Eric Meyer, physician assistant joins Palliative Care and Hospice providers at Vidant Health

GREENVILLE – Eric Meyer, a physician assistant, joined the palliative care team at Vidant Medical Center on Sept. 20.

Meyer earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from East Carolina University. His areas of interest include palliative care, end-of-life care, education and microbiology.

“I am honored to be joining the outstanding palliative care team at Vidant,” Meyer said. “I look forward to providing end-of-life/palliative care to the citizens of eastern North Carolina. I feel that my ten years working as a hospitalist physician assistant at Vidant Medical Center have prepared me for this new role with the palliative care team.”

Meyer joins Dr. Tae Joon Lee, medical director, home health, hospice and palliative care for Vidant Health, along with nurse practitioners Laura Carmon, Abby Fuoto, Charley Tyre, and Nicole Averett.
