Dr. Praveen Namireddy joins Vidant Cancer Care

Greenville, N.C. – Dr. Praveen Namireddy has joined Vidant Cancer Care, specializing in hematology and oncology.

Dr. Namireddy treats cancers and tumors of the chest, including the lung, esophagus, heart and chest wall.

He completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, where he was chief fellow. His prior training included a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York.

“I look forward to serving with the talented team at Vidant Cancer Care,” Dr. Namireddy said. “I am inspired by my colleagues here and by the health care needs in eastern North Carolina.”
