Dr. Colin Smith joins Vidant Family Medicine – Chocowinity

CHOCOWINITY, NC – Dr. Colin Smith, a family medicine physician, has joined Vidant Family Medicine – Chocowinity

Before attending medical school, Dr. Smith was a registered nurse and officer in the U.S. Army. He earned his medical degree at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University (ECU). Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Smith completed a family medicine residency with ECU. “I am very excited to be joining this practice and continuing to serve the people of eastern North Carolina,” Smith said.

His areas of interest include comprehensive family medicine, women’s and children’s health, wilderness and travel medicine and a variety of office procedures including long-acting reversible contraception, joint injections, skin procedures and wound care.

Dr. Smith is working alongside Drs. Jessica Triche and Nancy Brous as well as family nurse practitioners Tracey Respess and Heather Black.
