Belhaven, NC – Belhaven’s new 12,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art, multispecialty health clinic opens to patients on June 20, 2016.

Bringing together an array of medical services, the same physicians, nurses, lab techs and staff from the three current physician practices will be under one roof so residents can get primary care, cardiac consults, prenatal care, X-rays and ultrasound all at the same location. Not to mention, an adjacent helipad is available for quick transport for patients that require a higher level of care and 24/7 access for health care needs at night, or on weekends including holidays.

“I’ve been practicing medicine in this incredible community for over 27 years, and having this new facility, with helicopter access, will allow us to better meet the vast majority of Belhaven area patients’ needs, ” said Dr. Greg Jones, Vidant family physician and Medical Director of the new clinic.

The new $5.5 million facility has additional space for specialists to see patients that require more than primary care.

“In the twenty years I’ve been living and practicing medicine here in Belhaven, I believe that a new facility, which delivers a new ambulatory model of care, and attracts and retains top quality medical talent, is the best path forward for our community,” said Dr. Mark Beamer, Vidant family physician.

“The Vidant Multispecialty Clinic in Belhaven is an asset to our residents and the surrounding communities,” said Diana Lambeth, executive director of the Belhaven Chamber of Commerce. “Having this facility in a community of this size only enhances and improves our quality of life and the vitality of northeastern Beaufort County.”

The Vidant Multispecialty Clinic in Belhaven joins more than 80 physician practices across eastern North Carolina that are part of Vidant Medical Group.
