Ahoskie welcomes fellowship-trained endocrinologist

Ahoskie, N.C. – Dr. Sanjeda Sultana has recently joined Vidant Endocrinology-Ahoskie.

Her areas of interest are diabetes, which is common in the region, as well as disorders of the pituitary and thyroid glands. Her practice also focuses on teaching patients how to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Dr. Sultana completed residency training in internal medicine at Louisiana State University in Shreveport followed by a fellowship there in endocrinology.

“I look forward to providing specialty care for the patients of Ahoskie and northeastern North Carolina,” Dr. Sultana said, “an area where I am needed and where diabetes is prevalent.”
