Here to Keep You Informed

We’re here to keep you up-to-date on infectious viruses, how you can help protect yourself and what it means for your next visit to an ECU Health facility.

As always, we recommend that community members get vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19, practice good hygiene by washing hands frequently and wear a mask when in public if you do not feel well. Thank you for doing your part to stop the spread of infectious viruses.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and you are interested in treatment, please contact your provider, local pharmacy or go to the NCDHHS treatment finder.

Visitor Information

ECU Health values family and community presence when loved ones are in the hospital. At the same time, ECU Health is responsible for protecting patients and team members from being exposed to infectious viruses. To help accommodate patients requiring in-person visitation from a loved one, ECU Health has implemented visitation restrictions in hospitals and clinics. Learn more on our Visiting ECU Health page.
