Patient Experience at Vidant Bertie Hospital
Patients are randomly selected to take part in a phone survey called the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) . We survey patients to help us understand how they perceive their hospital experience so we can improve our services. The surveyor will ask questions to find out how the patient perceived the care he or she received during a particular hospital visit.
